The Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine is seeking a clinical social worker to work on maternal-infant child bonding in women with perinatal mood disorders. This is a part-time fixed term (clinical) position at the Clinical Instructor rank. The major expectations for this position will be the provision of evidence based direct behavioral health care to women with reproductive mood disorders (namely perinatal mood disorders) within the UNC Center for Women's Mood Disorders.
Education and Experience:
The successful candidate will have strong clinical skills and experience working with a multi-disciplinary team, including trainees from a variety of disciplines. Candidates should have clinical experience working with both adults and children and understand the complexity of the perinatal period. Preference will be given to applicants with experience working with both pediatric and adult patients and experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
