This position will function as a member of the research team in the Center for Integrated Care Delivery in the implementation and conduct of several grant-funded projects, including:
1) Innovative training to transform rural care; and 2) Healthier Lives at School and Beyond: Linking School-Based Health Centers to Expanded Resources for Care and Counseling.
As a part of these projects, the successful candidate will train and supervise graduate-level behavioral health trainees who are providing care to patients in an integrated primary care setting; participate in training medical residents about behavioral health; contribute to the revision and restructure of a more unified, interdisciplinary curriculum across multiple professions in the primary care setting; and provide behavioral health services as a part of team-based care for underserved patients including school aged children and school staff directly into rural primary care practices and schools via a telehealth system.
This position offers the appropriate candidate the opportunity for clinical program research, model development, dedicated Family Medicine resident and behavioral health student teaching, and provision of clinical services within an integrated care setting.
